VIETNAM HYPERTENSION CONFERENCE

Dear Colleagues,


It is a great honor for us to welcome our colleagues to participate in the 6th Vietnam Open Hypertension Conference of the Vietnam Hypertension Association/Vietnam Cardiology Association (VSH/VNHA) in collaboration with Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Can Tho Central General Hospital and Can Tho City Cardiovascular Hospital, will be held in Can Tho City on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15, 2024.


The Organizing Committee would like to send to our colleagues ANNOUNCEMENT NO. 1 of the Conference with the topic: "HYPERTENSION INTERACTION WITH CARDIOVASCULAR AND METABOLIC DISEASES IN 2024". The conference will have the participation of leading experts and presenters in the field of Hypertension and cardiometabolic diseases. The scientific conference program includes updates on the latest advances and results in Hypertension (HTA) that will be presented through:


  • Overview report.
  • Thematic reports
  • Scientific reports of oral and poster research.
  • Clinical case report.
  • Satellite reports of companies.
  • Clinical lectures, CME.
The conference not only focuses on Hypertension but also expands to the newest areas of interest such as:
  • Epidemiology of cardiovascular diseases and hypertension.
  • Cardiovascular risk factors and hypertension: Geriatrics, Women, metabolic disorders, Diabetes, Lipid disorders, Obesity.
  • Other complications of hypertension: Heart failure, Brain stroke, Cardiac arrhythmia, Cognitive disorders...
  • Cardiovascular imaging and hypertension.
  • Family medicine and primary care for hypertension.
  • New Hypertension and Cardiovascular recommendations in 2024.
  • Co-morbidities such as Coronary Artery Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Sleep Apnea Syndrome,...
  • Update new techniques, new drugs in the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension: ABPM, HBPM techniques, new biomarkers in hypertension, renal vessel ablation treatment in hypertension.
  • Emergency treatment for cardiovascular disease and hypertension.
  • The latest groups of drugs and means in the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension and related diseases.
In addition, indispensable in the Conference are:
  • CME program with the topic of Hypertension and related diseases.
  • Award for young researchers in hypertension.
A number of extracurricular activities will also be conducted during the Conference such as:
  • Launching ceremony of the National Hypertension Screening Program MMM 2024.

Receive registration to attend and name of the report: từ 22/01/2024.
Deadline for receiving abstracts: 02/05/2024.
Initial program: 17/05/2024.
Final program: 31/05/2024

REGISTRATION

Scientific research report:
  • Abstract: summary in Vietnamese (with translation into English) on a separate page, content of about 300-500 words, A4 paper size, right margin 2cm, left margin 3cm, top and bottom margins 2 .5cm, font size 12-13, 1.5 line spacing, Unicode font, Times New Roman style (other fonts are not accepted). Author's full name, place of work, title, degree, not written. The summary includes 4 parts: Objectives, research methods, results and conclusions.
  • Full text: 4-6 A4 pages long, typed according to the above regulations, reference documents: no more than 10 documents in the order of Vietnamese documents above, foreign documents below according to author's name . It is necessary to state: author's name, year of publication, name of article, journal, newspaper, volume (volume), number, page, arranged in alphabetical order A, B, C (author's name). The article should be sent with a floppy disk or email to the address below
Special report:
  • The format is similar to a scientific report, including summary, full text, content no more than 10 pages including references..
  • Author name, address, phone number (main contact) immediately below the abstract
  • Scientific research reports and independent thematic reports, abstracts and full-text articles are all sent with recorded floppy disks or email to the address below.

REPORT FORMS

Report to the forum (oral presentation) or by poster (poster presentation).

Vietnamese rapporteurs should prepare an additional English report for foreign rapporteurs to follow.

Some foreign reports will likely be done online

The reporter's time is 10 minutes for scientific research reports and 15 minutes for thematic reports..
